These Macleays Eggs come from Lichen Morph females. These eggs are from parthenogensis (meaning the females were not mated. The offspring will hatch female). There is no guarantee these will develop the lichen markings however they are more genetically likely as they come from Lichen females.
Once hatched, keep the offspring surrounded by lots of lichen covered branches so that they develop the lichen colouration. As they mature, they will turn lighter and greener.
