Pseudoglomeris magnifica, also known as the Emerald Cockroach, is a dazzling species native to Vietnam and southern China, admired for its metallic green to copper-toned exoskeleton that shimmers in the light. Diurnal and arboreal, it climbs smooth surfaces with ease and prefers humid enclosures with bark hides and forest humus. Females are wingless and give birth to small litters after a long gestation of up to six months, making it a slow but rewarding species to breed. Its vivid coloration and gentle behavior make it a standout in any display collection.
