In the wild, Heterometrus spinifer inhabits tropical rainforests across Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. These scorpions prefer humid, shaded environments and are typically found under leaf litter, logs, or in burrows where they can avoid predators and maintain moisture levels. They are nocturnal ambush predators, feeding on insects, spiders, and other small invertebrates using their powerful pincers to subdue prey.
Adults usually measure 10 to 12 cm (4 to 5 inches) in length, though some individuals may grow slightly larger. Despite their intimidating size and appearance, they are generally shy and rely more on their pincers than their stinger for defense. Their venom is mild and not considered dangerous to humans

Reviews
Very pleased with the Spinifers supplied, Delivered as arranged, well packaged and all active and Healthy on arrival. Only slight downside is there is no D.O.B. or life stage info included. Personally i like to have accurate details of all of my pets, not take a guess at their age.
That being said, will not stop me ordering again, am impressed with everything else, and ultimately, correctly identified and healthy scorpions is what its about.
