Not much is known about this species. Its a truly huge cockroach from Malaysia. In defence it sprays out a liquid that smells like tanned leather from a distance but can be quite strong up close. They sit around 3-4 inches in size. Males have wings.
 
Very unsual in the hobby and not many available in Europe.
 
We would advise keeping similar to many of the tropical species with around 60-80% humidity on soil with lots of climbing and leaf litter.
